FAQ
How many pictures will we receive? and when?
This depends on which package you chose, how many people are included in the session and how the session flows. Numbers range from 10 images for mini sessions to 50-100 for full galleries. Expect your gallery to take between 1- 3 weeks to be delivered in full.
How should we dress for our family session?
I have a beautiful client wardrobe available complimentry for women and babies if you wish. Location and weather will play a factor in your outfit choice. Go for what makes you feel good! complimentary color schemes, textures, movement, no big logos, keep the kiddies warm, i love working with neutrals and earthy tones but its not a requirement! And ask for help! im hear to make this easy and can happily assist.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborns are sleepiest in the first 2-3 weeks. In saying that, awake babies are just as precious to capture, so it really depends on how your feeling and when your ready!
What happens if it rains or if one of us is unwell
For outdoor sessions I will keep a close eye on the weather and make a call on the day to go ahead or not if its looking fiffy. I will always reschedule for bad weather and illness. Noone needs to stress about this. Please stay home if someone is unwell, and i will also do the same, it keeps us all safe. keep in mind, Light drizzly rain can sometimes be really beautiful in photos!
Do you travel?
Yes.. but, there might be travel fees included for areas outside the GV area. We decide on a location together to best suit your vibe and vision. I also have my home studio in Numurkah which is lovely for newborns, small families, milestones and maternity shoots. Lets get creative!
Whats your approach to a family photography session?
Child lead, rather free flowing, with gentle and natural guided posing. I want to capture your connection and the details are my favorite part! My aim is for whoever im photographing to feel they have had a beautiful experience.
